Experience in detail

Your 2,5 hour guided tour begins at metro station Vyšehrad (Redline C). The guide will be holding an open blue and white umbrella in front of the Congress center. Once you meet our licensed guide, you will start to explore this amazing area.

You will start this tour by hearing myths and legends which formed our very early Czech history. You will get acquainted with the history of bastions, fortification from the 18th century and you will see one of the oldest churches in our country – the rotunda of St. Martin.

This pleasant walk with beautiful views will take you to the place where you will visit the Vyšehrad st Peter and Paul church. Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul, a neo-Gothic building and its towers dominate Vyšehrad and complete one of the characteristic panoramas of Prague, the counterweight of Prague Castle. The walk ends here, but if you want, you still have the opportunity to visit Slavín – the national cemetery or casemata where original statues from Charles Bridge can be found. National cemetery bears many famous personalities rest here, such as Karel Čapek, Antonín Dvořák, and many others.
